This workshop is a fantastic way to offer your students a unique and impactful learning experience without any extra work for you. We handle everything, providing a safe, educational, and genuinely exciting session that empowers children to be creators, not just consumers, of technology. Give your students the tools they need to thrive in a technology-driven world and book a session that they'll be talking about for years to come.
Join us for a fun and interactive half-day workshop where kids get to dive into the amazing world of Artificial Intelligence (AI)!
We’ll bust some myths, explore what AI really is (and what it’s not), and spark their imaginations with big ideas. The session kicks off with a creative brainstorm about what AI might be and how it works. Then we’ll break down the basics in a simple, easy-to-understand way - no techy jargon needed!
But it’s not just about theory, this workshop is packed with hands-on activities! Kids will get the chance to train their own AI models, play around with AI image generators, and even turn their own poems into full 3-minute songs using AI.
Session 1
In the first session we look at what exactly is AI, what it is used in and how we accesses it. We demystify how AI works and children get a chance to brainstorm some of their thoughts and ideas of what they think AI is.

One thing is certain, AI is here to stay and it's now down to you what early access you give to children at your school or MAT.
I’m not just speaking as an academic writing a piece for a magazine, I’ve been there in front of dozens of children actually delivering these lessons and I’ve seen first hand the difference AI can make, particularly to under achieving children. I know what works and what doesn't and how to keep lessons interesting on a subject that could easily get bogged down in technical jargon.
My view is simple, AI is here and it’s only going to get better. The age of the “bot” is approaching and that may well give children a personalised teaching assistant. I know one thing for sure, AI, at the moment, will never replace a classroom teacher, but introducing AI to children at an early stage can really bring lessons to life and the dawn of a new creative age for children no matter what background.
